Monrovia (LNRCS/ICRC) - Nearly 1,250 Liberian law enforcement and fire service officials have trained in basic first aid this year with the help of the Liberian Red Cross (LNRCS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
In recent days, surgical teams from the ICRC have treated over 90 people wounded in the bomb blasts in Madagali and Maiduguri in north-eastern Nigeria. Nigerian Red Cross volunteers administered first aid to the wounded in both incidents.
